A Personal Note from Carrie:

"As you know, the past election resulted in a new House leadership team, and your efforts significantly contributed to these changes. Thus, as your new House Judiciary Chair, it would mean a lot to me personally if you can attend. Of course, if your schedule does not permit, then your support is much appreciated.

On a related note, you will likely be called upon for support from many candidates during this election cycle. As tiring as I am sure it will become, please do your part because these elected officials (seeking your support) sure do their part. The good news is that the pendulum seems ready to swing back in the direction where the rights of consumers, workers and families actually matter again. But, lets not take it for granted. There is still much work to be done."
